Disneyland, Round 2
Now that our child knows what Disneyland is, she is constantly asking me to go there.
Me: What should we do today Ev?
Ev: Go to Disneyland!
Me: Uh, why don't you choose something else, since Disneyland is in California and we live in Oregon.
Ev: We go to Costco?
Me: You betcha.
Evelyn was thrilled to meet Sofia.
I'll be honest, I was mildly terrified since her head is HUGE.
Oddly enough, Ev was a little scared to get a picture with Sully. She LOVES Sully and Mike, but I guess when the monster you love is six times taller/wider than you, it puts things into perspective a little bit.
Evie loved taking turns going on rides with everyone. She is fearless and will seriously ride anything. We rode this tractor ride twice.
Me - ridin' solo.
Nick and Ev have the exact same taste buds. Their favorite treats in no particular order:
1. Sour watermelons
2. Ice Cream
3. Chocolate
4. Jelly Beans
5. Oreos
6. M & Ms
I was a little worried about how Anna would do, but as usual she was an angel baby. Everyone took turns wearing her in the Bjorn and D-land is the most baby friendly place on the planet. I thoroughly enjoyed feeding her in their snazzy nursing facility and I was even able to ride a couple of rides once the girls fell asleep. Tower of Terror is STILL the best ride at Disneyland.
Ariel.
Snow White.
I just have to say this - Snow White was amazing. She had the EXACT same voice as the Snow White in the movies and I think they just plucked her right out of the scene where she cleans the Dwarfs' house. Ev loved her.
Besides Rapunzel, Cinderella is Evie's favorite. Which sort of makes me mad because I've tried so hard to make Mulan her favorite. People think I'm weird because I'm obsessed with Mulan, but she really is my absolute favorite. I'd rather have my daughter look up to her (strong, independent, intelligent) than someone who falls in love with a guy who doesn't even know her name!
(No offense Cinderella)
It just goes to show that I have no control over my child I guess.
Dumbo is Ev's favorite ride. She talked about riding the 'pink Dumbo' for months before we went down to California. Luckily, I only had to elbow two small children in the face in order to reach the pink Dumbo first.
Best Mom Ever Award!
Thanks Grandma J for taking us!
Can't wait until Ev is old enough to ride the roller coaster with me.
