Pain You Enjoy

Nick and I are running a half-marathon on June 12. YIKES.
I thought the slogan for the half-marathon was pretty awesome. I am definitely looking forward to enjoyable pain. We've officially started training... well I have officially started training. Nick is hardcore and will probably wing the whole thing because he's awesome like that. If you're legs are more than 3/4 your height, then you can pretty much walk a half-marathon and school everybody. Don't tell my husband, but I married him in hopes that at least 1/2 of our children will be born sans sausage thighs - courtesy of moi. In the next life, I am definitely going to make sure that my thighs don't rub together when I run - then the pain will really be enjoyable.

June 12th is going to be a busy day for us. Half-Marathon at 5:30 in the AM and our dear friends Mike and Lauren are getting married in the afternoon. Don't worry, I've already reserved a wheelchair for myself so Nick can push me through the receiving line to congratulate the soon-to-be Reids.

SIDE NOTE: I have a fatty test tomorrow that I am currently NOT studying for.

In other news, I had another headband photo shoot this weekend and it went really well. I have the greatest friends. They are so willing to help me out (and they are totally foxy which doesn't hurt either) and we all had a great time. I'll post one picture here to get you salivating and then I will be posting the rest on my headband blog, lemignonbandeau.blogspot.com
Now that I have some professional shots of all the headbands I can finally put them on etsy.
The hardest part is actually giving them away. I get so attached to them and find it hard to hand them over even after someone has paid for one. Luckily I have a husband who helps me come to terms with the fact that I do not need one headband for every outfit that I own. What a guy.

Way to go! That is awesome! Yeah, good luck with that... esp training with wild wolf man nick... he really will just get up that morning and run it. It makes me sick.
