Eugenius

I feel ever so clever for coming up with the title to this post. Unfortunately it has nothing to do with what I'm about to talk about - the Evster.
And she hardly needs an introduction these days.

She is exponentially growing. Everyone says it because its true. Your baby disappears right in front of you and its so surreal.

She is getting so good at pulling herself up on things. Not only does she love her kitchenette, it has helped her learn how to stand and pull herself up.

She's still scooting a lot though.

And still loving those darn DVD's. They used to be perfectly alphabetized (sigh).

She's still such a happy girl.

Does this look like a baby to you?

This is her mad face. If it wasn't so cute I might have let her eat the sharpie she wanted (but probably not).

She is so friendly. She waves at everyone and everything. Trees, boxes of cereal, dogs, people, and windows. If she looks out the window she is most certainly waving to "someone." Sometimes she will say hi if I say it, but usually its just a polite wave to the random checker or old lady at the grocery store.

I laugh so hard because to me she looks way too little to be standing. She's such a little peanut.

Proof that she does crawl. Not often but occasionally she does. She usually switches quickly to scooting since she's much faster at doing so.

She gets into everything now. I had a bunch of coke bottles in the pantry for a future craft project and she comes scooting up to me like this:

Her Uncle Brent would be proud.

Picture Dump + Obedience

All of these are from before Evie's birthday almost a month ago.
Yeah, we've been busy!
Nick is currently studying for #2 of 3 finals while I work on last minute additions to Jenny's Bridal Shower, pack for Portland (I'm going up again this week), and pack us up for the summer.
Hopefully I can squeeze in a better update of our lives later this week. For now, here is an overload of adorableness from the Evster.

Getting a good picture of her is becoming more difficult each day. If I give her my iPod she will look at me, but then she has an iPod in her mouth.

She is OBSESSED with giving herself kisses. She will kiss herself all day long.

Still adoring broccoli.
Mom however, does not love her poops.

This is what usually happens when I have the camera. She turns away from me and starts scooting the opposite direction. (She thinks we are playing chase)

Still loving the DVD's. Won't watch them, even if I need her to so I can cook dinner. She'd rather scoot around with them in her hands. She will usually bring them to me while I'm cooking. Depending on what I'm making, I usually have 5 to 15 DVD's on my kitchen floor by the time dinner is ready.

I've also tried giving her the lens to the camera. But then she has the lens in her mouth when I take pictures of her.

And then there's this:

She seems to make this face when she sees a flash too many times.

The printer is easily her favorite "toy."

How big does she look here! Where is my baby?

At the Ducks baseball game. (We went for Evie's birthday)

And now for the obedience. Evie is very good at showing her tricks on command. We finally captured it on camera!

Just Dance

I spent a portion of last week at the Portland Zoo with my favorite yahoos. I have yet to upload any pictures from my time there and in lieu of Flashback Friday here is a semi-old video of The Face doing what she does best - being cray-cray. While I am certain our entire family is grateful that Ally's middle name is not Grace, she is simply adored by all who can't help but stare at her gorgeous face. Enjoy:

And anyone who knows the Real Kardsashians would know that if one Kardashy is dancing, they all are. At least the ones who've still got the moves. You're welcome, Kendall:

Happy Anniversary to us!
